Hi, I am Kimberly Machelle Murray. I am a native of Portland Oregon affectionately known as the “City of Roses.” While living in Portland, I entered the world of food and beverage and worked in the industry for five years before taking it abroad to California and Nevada.

Fortunately, that interest led me to my 27 year career in the Clark county school district system. I took my love of working with food within the lunch program to connecting with students in the classroom! Using my skills to give knowledge and special education to students of all ages, has been one of my the greatest accomplishment.

However, my greatest joy has come from being a mother to my 23-year-old son. Shaping and molding him into being a great member and productive human in society has been an incredible journey which has led me to my current role; as I have now embarked into my golden years of retirement. Now my time is filled with traveling, gardening, reading and sewing pleasures.

Lastly, like most educators, I still strive to be a lifelong student and continue to seek new things. I’m currently learning an African dance called Kizomba!
